Love the song, you music is always great. I know you were under a time limit but I would love it to be longer :D I cant really critique anything, but the 9 is for length.

A nice little tune, I would say make it more interesting by adding effects and stuff to keep in changing instead of just adding in something new each phrase. Also, it sounds like a bunch of Nexus presets. I swear the bass at the beggining is "a simple saw" from Nexus. Am i right?

It is a bunch of nexus presets.. but it's not a simple saw =P
I suppose I could have made it longer, layered it with effects, and come it with something else. But personally I like relatively short songs that grab your attention, stay interesting, and get you excited =D

reFX neXus has alot of good piano sounds. built in, and has many options to tweak them to your ear. It is my favorite generator, no competition.

I dont have the in depth knowlege to really critique the ambient stuff, but i can tell this is great stuff. Really relaxing and easy to liten to. Its got a nice slow flow without being a really slow song. Thats sounds like a good ambient song to me. Always new cstuff coming in, but with the same idea. I like the amount and rate of change. Nice job man, keep it up! =)

Nice start. At 23 seconds where everything plays on the beat, its a bit exagerated and then overused. Also, I think the drums dont really fit the feel of the song, could be better but not TOO big of a deal. A think I hear a little distortion with the bass or sumthing. The cymbal on the beat is cool, but overused. Try mixing up and the percussion stuff a little. Yea, im hearin the same tricks and stuff used too much. Also, the instruments are good, but you gotta mix it up sometime. The delay effect around 3:40 was nice. So Pretty much, the main thing is it is too repetative in my opinion. I liked the ending =). 5'd for epicness of SM64!!

Thanks for the nice review :D i agree with the repetition issue, ill go back and switch some stuff up. I was trying to change the calm feel of the original song to a more "fast" version. i guess i still got some work to do there too. lol. thanks for the input, i really appreciate it! :D

Very nice intro. i liked the piano's tone. it builds very nice into the main part. the snare roll didnt seem to rise in volume consistently which was kinda wierd. When the hard style bass comes in I think it needs more bass presence and maybe just a little less kick, just opinion. when you doubled the dude saying go or somthing with that upbeat cymbal it too much presence, too up front and in your face. All of the automation sweeps at the end were coolbut they seemed to not go back and forth consistently. like it would be in the middle of getting softer, then stop getting softer, then continue. I dont really know what was goin on. Also, how did you do that pitch sweep thing at 59 seconds?

So, Great start, lots of potential, I wanna see this finished =)
